PLEASE NOTE:The exhibition will not be open on Mondays except for public holidays. Yesterday, we were fortunate to attend the DinosAlive exibit at Forest Hill City, which just happens to be our current local shopping mall. If you have no clue where it is, it is just off the R55 offramp from the N14. After a bit of a search for where the exhibit was (as you come into the main underground entrance, with the car wash on your left...it's on your right!) we found it and went in. I have to admit that | was a little skeptical about it, but was very pleasantly surprised. While not enormous, the exhibit will hold little dino enthusiasts spellbound. Heck, it had us enthralled. Giant moving beasts, roaring and moving in the spooky but cool lit surroundings made the whole experience a heap of fun. At each dino, there is also an info sheet with a QR code for you to read additional info on the beast. The DinosAlive exhibition comprises of familiar faces like the Tyrannosaurs Rex and Triceratops. If you’re a dinosaur lover, you’ll be able to spot more obscure names like the Spinosaurus and Ankylosaurus on show too. No visitor to DinosAlive will be able to miss the sky-scraping Brachiosaurus though, a gigantic dinosaur recreated in all its glory for the exhibition. These realistic dinosaurs will make you feel like you have gone back in time thanks to their lifelike movements and textures, and the sounds they make too!
